Minister: Russia’s GDP fall slows down to 3.5% in December 2015
MOSCOW, Feb 4 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) contraction slowed down to 3.5% on the year in December from 4% in November 2015, Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev told reporters on Thursday.
“According to our estimates, the fall in December stood at 3.5% on the year,” he said.
Earlier Ulyukayev said that seasonally adjusted GDP fell by 0.1% in December from a 0.3% decrease in November.
According to the Federal State Statistics Service, the Russian economy contracted 3.7% in 2015.
